Soft-tissue instrument-assisted mobilization (IASTT)/Graston, is one of a number of manual therapy approaches that uses instruments with a specialized form of massage/scraping of the skin. Using this technique, the chiropractor will be able to identify areas of restriction and will attempt to break up the scar tissue.
